Flat Leaf Parsley (Petroselinum crispum var. neapolitanum) is not native to Florida and is an annual. It grows in clumps approximately 1 foot tall and wide. It will tolerate full sun to partial shade with consistently moist but well-drained soil. It is low maintenance. This culinary herb is known for it's aromatic, edible leaves which are primarily used as a garnish, but it also makes an attractive landscape plant in hanging baskets.
It is the larval host plant for the Eastern black swallowtail.
