Everglades Tomato (Solanum pimpinellifolium) is a shrub-like plant that will sprawl to approximately 10 feet; you may want to use a trellis for support. It prefers full sun and while it is drought tolerant, it does best with moderate watering. The size of the tomatoes will be approximately 1/2 inch in diameter but it's flavor is pleasantly intense. It will bloom all year long in alkaline soil, brackish water and is resistant to some fungal diseases and late blight.
