
Seagrape (Coccoloba uvifera) is a shrub or tree that may grow 35-50 feet high by 20-30 feet wide. Small cream-colored clusters bloom spring to early summer. Clusters of green fruit ripen to red and are edible. It will tolerate full sun to partial shade and sandy, well-drained soil. It can be pruned as a hedge, screen or tree.
