Slender Beardtongue (Penstemon australis) is a perennial with showy white, pink flowers that grows to approximately 2-3 ft. tall but with clones can spread widely. It requires full sun to part shade and will tolerate moist (no flooding) to very dry sandy soil. This winter dormant plant is recommended for wildflower gardens and attracts hummingbirds and bees.
