This is a long-lived evergreen perennial with bright yellow flowers never becomes multi colored with age. It makes a nice border plant and pollinators love the nectar. You can propagate this from stem cuttings and seed. It is best to use cuttings to avoid the potential of establishing hybrids with other lantanas that are not native. Highly salt tolerant, and likes sandy soils and lime rock. While this is a Florida native, its natural range is in the very southern part of eastern coastal Florida and inland dunes. It will grow in our area well, however, it is not a true Tampa Bay area native.
