Another wild flower with many names - Mistflower, Blue mistflower, Wild ageratum, Pink eupatorium, Hardy ageratum, and Blue boneset are just some of the many common names used to identify this eye-catching Florida native wildflower. Found in many habitats in Florida, its flowers are very attractive to pollinators, especially butterflies,.

It is a member of the Aster family and its native range is throughout Florida. It likes  moist to wet, sandy, loamy or mucky soils.  Grows well in full sun to partial shade and to about 3' tall.  It is very easy to grow from seed or divisions. Blue mistflower blooms in the summer through fall before going dormant in the winter.
