Rabbit Bells (Crotalaria rotundifolia) is a perennial that grows to approximately 3-6 inches tall and is a sprawling groundcover. It's a member of the legume/pea family. Flowers are butter-yellow with two petals. Fruit begins as greyish-green to yellowish-green and turn brown or black when mature. Rabbitbells require full sun and sandy soil. It is not drought tolerant and self-seeds easily. Keep away from children, pets and livestock as this is poisonous if ingested.
