Highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum) is a shrub that should be planted in partial shade with slightly wet to dry acidic, sandy soil. It can be grown as a hedge to approximately 6-12 feet high by 3-5 feet wide. Flowers are white and the fruit is blue/black. Birds and other wildlife consume the fruit and it attracts many pollinators.
