Myrsine (Myrsine cubana) is an evergreen shrub that may grow 8-15 feet tall by 3-8 feet wide. It produces white flowers and black fruit. This shrub will tolerate full sun to part or full shade and prefers to be planted in moist, well-drained humus or sand. Birds will eat the fruit and this shrub provides shelter for wildlife.
