Walter's Violet (Viola Walteri) is a trailing wildflower with blue-violet flowers. It is a creeping groundcover that requires partial to full shade with well-drained sandy soil or loam. The stems root into the ground and form new plants. It is a great nectar source for pollinators and it is the larval host for the Frittilary.
