Sea Purslane (Sesuvium portulacastrum) is a long-lived salt tolerant perennial groundcover that covers about 1/2' diameter and thrives in full sun to part shade aquatic, wet conditions. It has showy, pink or lavender flowers that bloom year round. This evergreen has succulent leaves, which are edible and taste salty. This is a nectar plant for Miami blue butterflies and bees.
