Jack-In-The-Bush (Chromolaena odorata), also known as devil weed, is a perennial shrub. It grows rapidly as high as 3-6 feet with a spread of 4-6 feet. It tolerates full sun and will be more of a creeper if planted in partial shade. The seeds are hairy and spread by the wind but will cling to fur and clothing. It requires well-drained, acidic, alkaline clay or sandy soil. This is a great nectar source for pollinators.
