Silver Buttonwood Tree (Conocarpus erectus sericeus) has low, multiple-branches with a vase-like shape. It can reach 15-20 feet high and wide. It requires full sun but will tolerate some shade too. It produces white flowers and reddish- to purple-brown fruit. Occasionally wet, well-drained clay, loam, sandy soil with alkaline to acidic PH levels are preferred. It is both drought and salt tolerant.
