Trumpet Honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens f. Sulphurea) is a vibrant, evergreen twining vine native to Florida. Reaching 8–15 feet tall and spreading 3–6 feet wide, it produces cheerful trumpet-shaped blooms in late spring that attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Red berries follow in late summer, adding visual interest and feeds birds.

This vine thrives in full sun and well-drained, humusy soils, though it tolerates light shade. It’s ideal for climbing trellises, fences, or arbors, and can also be used as a groundcover if left to sprawl. Prune after flowering to maintain shape and vigor.
