American Crinum lily, also known as Swamp lily, is a stunning, fragrant Florida swamp native. This long-lived perennial is a winter dormant evergreen that can bloom any time of the year. The white flowers are very showy. It is ideal for moist wildflower gardens, rain gardens, and along streams. It can grow in shade to full sun and has some salt tolerance. It is a host plant for the Spanish moth (convict caterpillar) and is pollinated by Sphinx moths.
