Blueflower eryngo (Eryngium integrifolium) is a native perennial wildflower in Florida, found primarily in the Panhandle and northeast counties, though distributed throughout the Southeast. It thrives in wet, sunny habitats such as bogs, savannas, and pine flatwoods. It is a valuable plant for pollinators, and particularly native bees that are very attracted to pale purple native flowers. A slender perennial herb growing 2–3 feet tall with arrow-shaped, clasping leaves and blue button-like flowers. They prefers wet, moist sandy or limestone soils. It is often found in savannas, bogs, and flatwoods, acting as an indicator of wet condition. They bloom showy bluish/pale purple flowers during late summer and fall. This is a full sun to light shade plant with a low tolerance for drought.

Eryngiums are in the carrot family and some are used by the caterpillars of the Black swallowtail butterfly.
