Creeping Sage (Salvia misella) is a short-lived perennial that may grow less than a foot tall with a spread of 3-5 feet. This plant tolerates moist (not flooded) to somewhat dry, sandy soil and produces tiny blue, fragrant flowers. It makes a great groundcover and will tolerate full sun to shade. It's the larval host for Fulvous hairstreak and attracts many pollinators.
