Dwarf pawpaw (Asimina pygmaea) is a shrub that grows to approximately 1.5 to 2.0 feet tall by 1-1.5 feet wide. It requires full sun and medium to occasionally dry sandy soil. Flowers are white, red or green. Small wildlife and birds harvest the green fruit. Dwarf pawpaw is the larval host plant to the Zebra Swallowtail.
