Florida Peperomia (Peperomia obtusifolia) is also known as "Baby Rubber Plant" for obvious reasons--it's thick, waxy leaves. It makes a great ground cover for shady areas as it only grows to approximately 6 inches to just under 1 foot. It's low maintenance, drought tolerant when it is established but can also be grown as an indoor houseplant as well. It can be used as a ground cover since it stays small. This plant is listed as endangered by the State of Florida. Grow to about 1' tall and 1-2' wide.
