Meadow-beauty (Rhexia, SPP) is a long-lived perennial wildflower that grows to approximately 1-2 feet tall and six inches wide. Pink, white or yellow flowers bloom late spring to early fall. Plant it in full sun to part shade in acidic loam, organic material (muck) or sand that remains relatively moist. This wildflower attracts bees and small butterflies. While it goes winter dormant, it propagates from seed and cuttings. From what we have read the seeds need to be kept moist to be successful in growing them.
