Feay's Palafox is endemic to Florida. It is most successful in zones 9A-11. Feay's Palafox does best in full sun but it can tolerate extremely low levels of shade. This plant prefers moist to dry, well-drained sandy soil that is acidic or neutral. They have been known to get as tall as 6 ft but average at about 4 ft. Its white and pink tubular flowers bloom in the summer and fall. It is a great nectar source for butterflies and bees. The flowers produce seeds which can be used to propagate.
