Verbena bonariensis is a tall and slender-stemmed perennial. It is a drought tolerant ornamental that prefers full sun to partial shade. It can grow to 6' tall and can spread to 3' wide. At maturity, it will develop a woody base. Fragrant lavender to rose-purple flowers are in tight clusters blooming from mid-summer until fall frost. This is naturalized in the US from South America. A popular plant for pollinators. This plant reseeds readily. Once we sell out of the inventory, we will no longer carry this plant.
