Redring Milkweed (Asclepias variegata) is a perennial wildflower that may grow up to approximately 3 feet. These fragrant flowers are white, with reddish, pinkish, to purplish rings around the middle, hence the name. It prefers light to moderate shade, but tolerates full sun in well-drained clay or sand. This deer resistant plant attracts pollinators. Bees, wasps, butterflies, flies, and ants can often be found on its sweet smelling flowers.
