This small shrub is most commonly found on the outskirts of wetlands including wet flatwoods, cypress swamps and flatwoods ponds. It favors full sun to part shade and wet to moist sandy soil. While this plant only reaches 2-3 feet, you will not miss its vibrant yellow clusters of blooms in the summer months.
