St. John's Wort grows to about 2-3' wide and remain low to the ground, making it a nice foundation flowering shrub. It is a woody plant with lots of yellow flowers all summer. It provides showy brown seed capsules in the fall for our fall bird migrators. It is a good pollinator nectar source and has attractive dark green foliage.
