Sea Purslane (Sesuvium portulacastrum) is a perennial groundcover that thrives in aquatic, wet conditions. It requires full sun and has showy, pink or lavender flowers. The succulent leaves are edible and tastes salty. This is a nectar plant for Miami blue butterflies and bees.
