Sweet Goldenrod is commonly found in northern Florida, naturally occurring in sandhill, dunes, pine-oak-hickory woods, secondary woods. In a garden, Sweet Goldenrod works in wildflower gardens and meadows. This plant can grow between 3-5 feet tall when given full to partial sun and moist to dry conditions. While not drought resistant, Sweet Goldenrod can survive periods of time in dry soil. Sweet Goldenrod is noted for its showy, fragrant yellow flowers which attract many pollinators.
