White Twinevine - Sarcostemma clausum is in the milkweed family and an evergreen vine. It prefers moist soil, but does well in pots in my yard and along a fence.  It gets long runners that can be trained to go where you want them to.  It could bloom at just about anytime of year.  It is a host plant to the Monarchs, Queens and Soldier butterflies.  A great plant for the Monarch lover that is always running out of milkweed.  Move your 3rd instar cats to this vine and have more of your other native milkweed to fill back in.  Monarchs and Queens will also lay eggs on it.  The intertwining vines make a nice shelter for the caterpillars to give them protection.  This is a fast grower and you won't run out of it.
